The stock market starts the week with a sharp decline

After the sharp decline in the stock market last week, the new week started with negative pricing. After that, despite compensating for some of its losses, excessive volatility in the markets continues.

After a sharp decline in the BIST 100 index on Friday, the first trading day of the week has started on a volatile course.

The BIST 100 index started the new week down 3.71 percent at 2.7 points. Then the losses reached 4.5 percent. After that, BIST100 compensated for its losses and experienced a 1 percent premium.

The BIST 30 index contract at VIOP also started the week down more than 5 percent. After that, some of the losses were compensated here as well

While the stock market started the day with a hard loss, the Istanbul Stock Exchange management announced that the short sale of shares in the BIST 50 index had been introduced for today’s upward step rule before the markets opened.
