Today is women’s day in the world
TODAY is the day of women who have been oppressed, exploited, ignored, discriminated against, subjected to violence, harassment, rape, poverty, hunger, reactionary and inequality. Today is International Women’s Day, March 8th.
Today women are on the streets all over the country and the world… Today women are saying, “We have the power to change.”
Ayşe, Mary, Ida, Michelle… and the cry of thousands of women “We want to live” are still on their minds … Women are resolutely continuing the fight against male violence without recognizing any prohibitions.
Great Atatürk, the founder of modern Turkey, made Turkey one of the pioneers in the world by providing Turkish women with the right to choose and be elected, decades ago.
