Turkey’s tourism sector will have 145 new hotels with 25,000 new rooms

25,000 rooms will be brought into operation with 145 new 4 and 5-star hotel projects planned to be opened in the 2024-2025 period, in Turkey.

In the 2024-2025 period, a total of 145 new hotels with 4 and 5-star ratings are planned to open in Turkey, introducing around 25,000 new rooms. As of August 15, 2023, within these 145 new hotel projects, which are set to open between 2024 and 2025, approximately 56,000 beds will become available. The total investment for these hotel openings in the 2024-2025 period is expected to amount to 37.2 million Turkish Lira.

Regarding the distribution of these new hotels, Istanbul takes the lead in the number of projects, followed by Antalya and Muğla, which are also prominent tourist destinations. Other regions within Anatolia are also experiencing increased activity in the tourism sector.

Istanbul 40 projects, 5271 rooms
Antalya 19 projects, 5125 rooms
Muğla 12 projects, 3247 rooms
