The British Foreign Office has issued a warning for citizens who will travel to Turkey. The British Foreign Office has warned its citizens who will travel to Turkey due to the fact that the security situation in the Middle East region is unpredictable and may become increasingly volatile.

In the statement, the warning was about all trips to areas within 10 km of the Syrian border of Turkey. Tourists were urged not to travel to said areas unless it was mandatory.

In the warning of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, it was stated that so far there had been no problems in traveling to Turkey, but it was necessary to stay away from crowded places due to the possibility of terrorist groups organizing attacks.

The statement said: “You should be vigilant, follow the advice of local security authorities, follow media reports and follow this travel advice.”
