Coronavirus in Turkey: 8 deaths in last 24 hours

In the last 24 hours, 97,783 Covid-19 tests have been performed in Turkey. The Ministry of Health has published the Daily Coronavirus Table on official webpage. Accordingly, 97,783 Covid-19 tests were been performed in the last 24 hours, 1344 people tested positive, 8 people died, and the number of those who recovered were 1402.

The proportion of those who received a second dose of the vaccine in the population over the age of 18 was recorded as 85.44 percent, and the proportion of those who received a first dose of the vaccine was recorded as 93.15 percent.

The amount of vaccines administered to date in Turkey increases to 147 million 501 thousand 398 doses

Osmaniye, Ordu, Amasya, Muğla, Kırklareli, Çanakkale, Eskişehir, Balıkesir, Manisa and Zonguldak were the 10 provinces with the highest proportion of those who had at least two doses of vaccine over the age of 18.

The provinces with the lowest proportion of those who received at least two doses of the vaccine were Urfa, Batman, Siirt, Diyarbakir, Bingol, Muş, Mardin, Bitlis, Ağrı and Elazığ.
