Meteorology shares its latest forecasts: yellow code alarm for 28 provinces and orange alarm for 7 provinces

The General Directorate of Meteorology has issued an alarm alert coded yellow for 28 provinces and coded orange for 7 other provinces. Accordingly, heavy rainfall is expected in Marmara, Aegean, Mediterranean and Central Anatolia. Based on a recent assessment by the General Directorate of Meteorology: Turkey is expected to be very cloudy.

Following regions are expected to have thunderstorms and torrential rain: Marmara, Aegean, Mediterranean (except Kahramanmaraş), central Anatolia (except Sivas), the western Black Sea (except Sinop) and torrential rain, western Marmara region, Aegean and Mediterranean coasts.

Rainfall is expected to strong in the coastal Aegean, Western Mediterranean, Manisa, Balıkesir and Çanakkale area and very strong in southwestern parts of Konya, Mugla, Antalya circles, Izmir and Aydın coastal districts, western shores of Balıkesir and southern Isparta, eastern parts of Burdur.
