ELECTION POLL RESULTS

According to MetroPOLL Research’s February poll, the AKP’s approval rating has declined compared to May 14th, while the CHP has seen an increase. The AKP has dropped to 33.1 points, whereas the CHP has risen to 31 points.

In these days when the political agenda is entirely focused on local elections, election polls continue to be a subject of interest.

While candidates continue their activities in the field, public opinion polls are closely followed by both voters and politicians.

‘PARLIAMENTARY ELECTION’ POLL

Most recently, the results of the “Turkey’s Pulse” survey conducted by MetroPOLL Research in February under the title “If elections were held this Sunday” were shared. Participants in the survey were asked, “If parliamentary elections were held this Sunday, which political party would you vote for?” After the proportional distribution of “undecided, no response, and protest votes,” the AKP ranked first. The AKP’s score was 33.1. Following the AKP, the CHP ranked second, with a score of 31.

It was stated that the DEM Party reached 9.9 points, while the MHP’s score was 6.5. In the survey, the scores for the İYİ Party were 6.3, the Victory Party 2.7, the Turkey Workers Party 1.9, and the Welfare Party 4.6.

INCREASE IN CHP VOTES

The results of the May 14th parliamentary elections were also provided in the survey. According to this, while a decrease in the AKP’s votes was observed compared to May 14th, an increase was recorded in the CHP’s votes.

The AKP, which reached a 35.73% approval rating on May 14th, dropped to 33.1 points. The CHP, which reached a 28.51% approval rating on May 14th, rose to 31 points.

According to the poll, HDP increased its votes, while the İYİ Party experienced a decrease.
