Residents begin to leave capital Kabul after Taliban enter the city

It has been reported that people are trying to leave capital Kabul in their vehicles, after Taliban entered the city.

Based on report by BBC, it was also shared that heavy vehicle traffic had occurred on the roads, as many people were reportedly trying to leave the capital with their vehicles.

The Taliban said it had instructed its fighters to wait at the gates of Kabul, not to resort to violence and to allow those who wanted to leave the city.

The Reuters news agency reported that some people left their vehicles on the road and walked towards the airport.
