RyanAir CEO Michael O’Leary said in an interview with the BBC that “the era of air tickets for 10 euros was closing”.

The CEO of RYANAIR, one of the airlines most preferred by those traveling in Europe with a low budget with cheap flights, said that it would no longer be possible to travel very cheaply by plane.

According to statements quoted by media, O’Leary stated that the average ticket price of the company was 40 euros last year, and the next 5 years it would be around 50 euros.

The airline boss said that while rising fuel prices played a role in making flights expensive, he thought people would continue to travel by plane.
