Termo Teknik.. Turkish radiators warming up the poles
Founded in 1990 as a medium-sized business, TERMO TEKNIK is today among top five companies in radiator production in Europe.
Termo teknik was an SME (Small & Medium Sized Company) until 199os producing electric water heaters, diesel or solid fuel broilers and electric radiators to meet domestic demand mostly. In 1990, the company started to produce panel radiators as well. In fact, it is the first compnay to manufacture towel radiators in Turkey.
Following the success enjoyed by Termo Teknik in the local market, Ideal Stelrad Group (ISG) based in the UK, purchased 85 percent of the company’s shares. In 1999 the rest of the shares were bought by ISG again to make Termo Teknik fully owwned by a foreign company.
Termo teknik is the leader in Turkey and among important manufacturers in Europe in panel radiator, towel radiator and wall mounted broiler production. It is one of the high-capacity radiator manufacturers established under one roof with a capacity of over 4.5 million pieces per annum coming from its 5 modern production lines.
In terms of production figures Termo teknik is among top five companies in Europe where there are over 50 small and large manufacturers and Termo Teknik meets / percent of this production. It is is the export champion in its sector in Turkey and targets to raise its share in the European markets by 10 percent in the near future.
Termo Teknik was one of the first radiator factories in Europe to achieve ISO 9000 certification.
