Turkey’s Ministry of National Defence has announced 2 Turkish soldiers were killed and 5 wounded in an airstrike on Syria’s Idlib region. Meanwhile, a flash statement came from Russia after SMO (Syrian National Army) started operation in Idlib in Syria, where chaos and violence remain interminable.

News agencies shared Russian Defense Ministry’s statements based on Russian news agencies, with “last-minute” warnings. The news covered statement from the Russian Defense Ministry which said “Turkey is providing support with artillery fire to militants who are attacking Syrian government forces. The militants, backed by Turkey, entered two areas controlled by Syrian government forces in Idlib. The Russian Air Force conducted airstrikes on forces in the area. This enabled the Syrian army to respond successfully to these attacks”.

The statement based on RIA, Interfax and TASS agencies also said, “Turkey stopped the artillery fire after Moscow contacted Ankara” adding “The Russian Defence Ministry had called on Turkey to drop aid and arms support to forces in the region”.

On the other hand it was also reported Turkey had allegedly demanded “Patriots” from the US to prevent attacks by Russian-backed regime forces who have been carrying out attacks on TSK elements in Syria’s Idlib.
