Togg CEO: The model that will be more easily accessible to come in 2027
Mehmet Gürcan Karakaş, CEO of Turkey’s Automobile Venture Group (Togg), said that the B-SUV car model, which is more affordable in terms of price, is planned to be put into operation in 2027. The maximum number of vehicles expected to be produced in 2023 is 20 thousand.
Car prices are on the rise due to the ongoing chip shortage around the world, the slowdown in car production and the impact of rising demand. In Turkey, this is added to the records in foreign exchange and the additional hikes brought by additional taxes.
Experts note that the effect of the base (taxable amount) regulation introduced on zero cars to stop high prices will last a maximum of three months (if any at all according to BTT opinion!!).
