Turkey lifts 14 days of surveillance for citizens who will come to Turkey from abroad

President of “Turkish and relative Communities Abroad” (YTB) Abdullah Eren has reported that  14 days home surveillance rule for citizens living abroad and wanting to spend their holidays in Turkey has been lifted.

According to a written statement from the Presidency of Overseas Turks and Related Communities,  stringent measures implemented at the border crossings for citizens and from abroad, within the scope of the  covid-19 outbreak, are gradually being removed with normalization steps.

In this context, while the transit passes used by Turks abroad who come to Turkey by land from European countries every summer are opened, some work is also being carried out to make the citizens’ vacation periods and travel comfortable.

Minister ERSOY has also confirmed this important news saying Turkey has lifted the quarantine for passengers arriving from abroad from today adding that passengers leaving planes landing at Turkish airports are allowed to enter without quarantine.

The Minister also said that they had invited all ambassadors to Antalya in Ankara on June 19 and he would show them all in person the measures taken against the epidemic.
