Turkey to give citizens vaccine appointment over MHRS and ALO 182 systems

Sinovac vaccines will be implemented in Turkey

Test process of 3 million doses of CoronaVac vaccine produced by Chinese company Sinovac and brought to Turkey have been completed in the laboratories of the Turkish pharmaceutical and Medical Device Authority. Accordingly, the authority has started to give its citizens in different parts of the country vaccine appointment over MHRS and ALO 182 systems.

Samples taken at random from the vaccines were sent to the laboratories of the Turkish pharmaceutical and Medical Device Authority and the analysis process, which takes at least 14 days, was initiated. The 14-day review process was completed today. Vaccination is expected to begin on Thursday or Friday

HEALTH WORKERS AND NURSING HOME STAYS FIRST IN VACCINATION

In this process, vaccines will be distributed to provincial warehouses with specially designed vehicles with air conditioning properties belonging to the Ministry of Health.

The Scientific Council has determined general priorities in vaccination by taking into account elements such as infection, mortality rate, and risk of negative social impact among various population groups. Accordingly, vaccination work was planned to be carried out in four stages.

At the first stage, health workers, citizens over 65 years of age as well as those who stay in protective homes such as disabled and elderly people are to be vaccinated.

In the second stage, the vaccine will be applied to people who work in critical jobs or who are in sectors and high-risk environments necessary for the functioning of society, as well as those with age 50 and over and have at least one chronic disease.

In the third stage, those who have at least one chronic disease under the age of 50, young adults, those who work in sectors and professions that are not included in the first two groups will be vaccinated.

In the fourth and final stage, all individuals outside the first three groups will be vaccinated.

APPOINTMENT REQUIREMENT FOR VACCINATION

Citizens will be able to get their vaccinations by appointment from family physicians or the appropriate public hospital or private hospital through the Central physician appointment system (MHRS) after they are notified, according to priority groups.
