FOREIGN EXCHANGE HOTELS IN TURKEY

Down below you will read an excerpt from an interesting article on a web page written by a professional from the tourism sector. Said opinion and expressions belong to the author and we are sharing it without any comment, apparently.

“A country (state) that has switched to convertibility, adopting the norms of international monetary assessment about 40 years ago, has somehow, and for for incomprehensible reasons, is currently interfering with the issue of currency exchange in hotels.

The light in the eyes of our friend, the secretary of the Treasury, is directed to the front vaults (at receptions) of hotels (meaning attention).

***

Many years ago, it was forbidden to carry foreign currency, even if you took it as a tip. It was funny and wWe used to laugh at it, because everyone had foreign currency in their pockets.

Looking at the circular (issued by the authority) which says it is forbidden to exchange currency in hotels, I understand one thing; The party that has been in power for 20 years, has taken the country back as far as it can, and is determined to do so even further.

It is necessary to see the point to which those who came to power saying “we will abolish bans, corruption and poverty” have brought Turkey, eventually.

***

Corruption is knee-deep (immense), poverty is hard to describe.

A new ban is on our agenda every day and now it’s time to stop exchanging currency for hotels.

Anybody has a word to comment? Please be my guest.”
