ANTALYA RECEIVES MANY TOURISTS

Ramadan holiday (feast) is a religious holiday in the Islamic world, celebrated for three days after Ramadan, the month of fasting.

The Feast of Ramadan will begin on May2nd this year and its last day will be Wednesday, May 4th. In the meantime, the government will announce this today by making a decision on whether the holiday will last longer (adding Thursday and Friday to this period). If the holiday is extended to 9 days, it means that many citizens will get on the roads in which case most will be going to southern part of Turkey. Therefore the hotels in said region may enjoy full capacity during the holiday.

Antalya hotels will be full by 80 percent on the holiday

As a professional in the sector has expressed “It is expected that high occupancy rates will be reached in hotels in Antalya during the holiday”. The same sector representative has noted that hotels that have delayed their opening due to the Russia-Ukraine war will also be opened on the holiday adding, “Almost all of the hotels are opening on Eid al-Fitr. Therefore, hotels will have over 80 percent occupancy. This is a very large occupancy rate for the period.”
