Corona virus panic in UK: Officials state new mutation is out of control

The outbreak of the corona virus in the UK has begun to increase its impact. Yesterday, PM Boris JOHNSON said, “The virus has mutated, it’s 70 per cent more contagious,” followed by a statement from Health Secretary Matt Hancock who said, “We lost control”.

Mutated corona virus panic is on the agenda in UK, where more than 2 million cases have been seen. It is said that “The mutated corona virus is 70 per cent more contagious than the previous virus.”

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson made a statement yesterday, followed by a critical statement from the Cabinet today. UK Health Minister Matt Hancock announced the mutated new corona virus was out of control. Hancock, who joined a program on TV said, “There has been an explosion in the number of cases and we have a long way to go. It seems very difficult to get it under control before the vaccines are completed.”

Emphasizing that the mutated corona virus was out of control, Hancock said, “in our original plan, we had no knowledge that the virus would mutate. We didn’t expect the mutated virus to spread so fast. There is no evidence that this virus, called VUI-202012/01, is milder than the original corona virus.”
