Orange and yellow coded warnings for 11 provinces from Meteorology

The General Directorate of Meteorology has issued an orange code warning for Balıkesir, Bursa, Çanakkale, Tekirdağ and Yalova, while a yellow code warning was issued for Bilecik, Edirne, Istanbul, Kırklareli, Kocaeli and Sakarya.

The authorities warned citizens against negative events such as sudden flooding, lightning, local hail, strong wind at the time of precipitation, tornadoes and disruptions in transportation in the cities where warnings were issued.

On the other hand, showers and thunderstorms are expected in the northwest of Central Anatolia, the Western Black Sea, Corum, the coastal Hatay, Ordu, Giresun, Trabzon and Rize, as well as locally in the Taurus Mountains of the Eastern Mediterranean. Other places are predicted to be slightly cloudy and clear.

It is predicted that there will be no significant changes in other places, where the air temperature will decrease by two to four degrees in the northwest and inland.
